Accounts & Subscriptions
Get the app and subscription from the dashboard. Keep your account credentials and subscription link secure.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe, and use a unique password for VPNPack. Never post your account credentials or subscription link in a public forum. After signing in to the dashboard, check your account details before viewing plans, subscriptions or orders to avoid mixing up accounts. If you can’t log in, check your keyboard input, capitalization and any outdated password saved in your browser. If the problem persists, keep a note of the message shown and contact support through an available option in the dashboard. Don’t assume you can recover your account by email.
Where can I get the app, and how do I import my subscription?
VPNPack supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Download the app from the user dashboard and get your subscription after signing in. On platforms other than iOS, signing in is enough to download the app; iOS access depends on whether your dashboard shows an eligible plan. After installing the app, grant any system network permissions it requests. Then use the import option in the dashboard, or paste your subscription link into the app’s subscription settings. Once imported, your server list should appear. If it’s empty, check your account and subscription status before reinstalling any app from an unverified source.
How do I update my subscription link, and what if the update fails?
Sign in to the user dashboard and check your plan status and current subscription link. Then update the subscription or configuration in your app. If the link in the dashboard has changed, edit the existing configuration and replace its link to avoid keeping several old configurations that are hard to tell apart. If the update fails, make sure your local network can reach the dashboard and note the exact error message from the app. If needed, disconnect from the proxy and try updating again. Copying a server name won’t work, and a webpage address isn’t a subscription link. Treat your subscription link like account credentials; don’t share the full link in a support ticket.
Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?
There’s no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so switching devices alone doesn’t mean you need another plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, get the app for that platform and your current subscription, then import it. When using multiple devices, check data usage in the account dashboard; unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. If you no longer use an old device, remove its saved subscription configuration and sign-in details. If the app shows a device-limit error, first check whether you imported a configuration from another service. Include the exact error in a support ticket rather than paying again.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Check your local network, app settings and target app separately. Change one thing at a time.
The app won’t connect at all. What should I check first?
Disconnect from the proxy first and make sure your local network can open ordinary websites. Then check your plan and data status in the user dashboard. Confirm that the app is using your current VPNPack subscription, that the server list is up to date, and that you’ve granted any required VPN or network permissions. If other proxy, network-filtering or security tools are running, temporarily disable any conflicting settings if you understand the impact, then try connecting again. When changing servers or switching local networks, change one thing at a time and note the result. This helps identify whether the issue is with your local network, configuration or a particular server.
Connected, but webpages won’t load. What should I do?
A connected status usually means the app has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that the website you want is reachable. Try several websites to see whether all of them fail or just one, then check the app’s current mode and whether the system proxy or tunnel is actually enabled. If you see a DNS error, check for conflicting DNS settings in your system and app. If you’re unsure about a setting, restore the app’s recommended defaults. Also check whether your browser has a separate proxy configuration saved. Keep the error message and app logs, and avoid making a series of changes that could make the problem hard to retrace.
Why does my browser work, but a specific app won’t use the proxy?
Some apps don’t use the system proxy, or a routing rule may send them directly. So a working browser doesn’t mean every app uses the same route. Check the app’s connection log to see whether requests from the affected app appear and whether they match a proxy or direct-connection rule. If the app supports tunneling or app-based routing, check the relevant permissions and settings for your platform. You can temporarily switch to global mode to help diagnose the issue, then restore your usual rules. Restart the app after changing the configuration, and check its own regional, account and terms-of-service requirements.
My mobile connection drops when the app goes into the background. How can I troubleshoot it?
First check whether the connection drops only when you lock the screen, switch apps or change local networks. If it comes back as soon as you reopen the app, check the system’s background activity, battery optimization and network access settings for the app. Allow background activity where your system permits it. If the issue happens only when switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, reconnect and compare performance on each network. Don’t enable multiple VPN configurations at once, as this can change which one the system uses. When opening a support ticket, include your device’s operating system, app, the action that triggered the drop and how the connection recovered. This is more useful than simply saying it disconnects often.
Speed & Routes
Check the target region first, then compare real-world performance. The number of routes and a single speed test don’t tell the whole story.
With so many servers, how should I choose one?
VPNPack covers 100+ countries / 230+ routes. The available routes are listed in the user dashboard and your updated subscription. Start by checking the region required by your target service, then compare how routes perform on your current network. Don’t choose based only on distance or the route name. Try routes that meet the service’s regional requirements and compare webpage loading, sustained transfers and app responsiveness. If a route doesn’t work well on your network, test another. Check the dashboard for cities, route types and support for specific platforms; a region label alone doesn’t confirm compatibility.
My connection slows down during peak hours. Should I switch servers or plans first?
Troubleshoot the route and your local network first. A higher-capacity plan doesn’t automatically mean faster speeds. Pause downloads, cloud sync and other bandwidth-heavy tasks, then compare the same destination across different routes. If possible, also test another local network. If only a particular route slows down during busy periods, note the time and route name, then try another route. If websites are slow even without the proxy, check your local network first. Plan capacity helps manage data needs; it can’t identify the cause of congestion on its own. If the issue continues, send your comparison results in a support ticket for further investigation.
My speed test looks good, but everything still feels slow. Why?
Speed tests use different destinations and transfer methods from the apps you actually use, so one test can’t represent every website. Webpage loading also depends on DNS lookup, connection setup, the destination server’s response and your browser. For video, check for buffering during continuous playback. For a useful comparison, keep the device, local network and destination service the same, and change only the route. Note any timeouts, retries or dropped connections. Pause background transfers while testing so downloads don’t skew the comparison. If you contact support, include your test conditions and the symptoms you’re seeing, not just a speed-test screenshot without context.
An AI tool or streaming service says my region is incorrect. Does that mean the route is broken?
Not necessarily. A platform may check your exit region, account details, browser session and its own service policies. Being able to open a website doesn’t guarantee access to every feature. First check that the selected route’s region meets the platform’s requirements, then see whether other websites work and save the exact error message. If only one platform is affected, reconnect and compare using a fresh browser session. Avoid switching regions repeatedly. VPNPack’s regional coverage doesn’t mean every route will consistently work with every platform. Check the result after connecting, and handle account issues according to the platform’s rules.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly plan data resets on the activation date; data packages last until used and never expire. Check the billing method before paying.
How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does the data reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you activated your plan. Choose a data allowance based on your usual browsing, file transfers and streaming; using more devices alone doesn’t mean you need a higher tier. Check the account dashboard for your remaining data and reset date. Resets don’t necessarily happen at the start of the calendar month. Before paying, verify the selected allowance, billing method and account. To compare monthly plans with data packages, see the pricing page for the rules; the two products have different data validity periods.
How are data packages billed? Do they expire?
Data packages are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB. They last until the data is used and never expire. Unlike monthly plans, which reset data each month on the activation date, data packages may suit a different usage pattern. “Never expire” describes the package’s validity; it doesn’t mean data is replenished automatically or that the allowance is unlimited. Before paying, make sure the dashboard shows a data package, not a monthly plan. If you already have another product on your account, don’t assume how its data will be combined or deducted. If you’re unsure, open a support ticket to confirm what your account shows.
What happens to the price difference if I upgrade my plan partway through?
The price difference for a mid-term upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, the plan you want and the details shown on the upgrade page in the user dashboard. An upgrade doesn’t mean you get a new full billing period, and you shouldn’t try to predict the settlement by calculating a daily rate yourself. Before confirming, check the amount and validity changes shown on the page. If they don’t match your expectations, save the details and ask through a support ticket before proceeding. After the upgrade, check the result in your account overview and update your app subscription. An old plan name still shown in the app isn’t by itself proof of your current account benefits.
Which payment methods are supported, and what if my payment doesn’t show up?
VPNPack supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Available payment options are shown on the order page in the user dashboard. Before paying, check your account, plan and order amount. After payment, check the order status and plan details in your account overview. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh the order status first. Don’t create multiple orders or pay again. Open a support ticket with the order ID, payment method, time and a screenshot of the status. Hide any unrelated personal information. Don’t post a full payment receipt in a public forum or send your password or subscription link as proof of payment.
How do I request a refund, and what information should I include?
VPNPack offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user dashboard and submit a refund request through a support ticket, including the relevant order and payment method. Read the refund policy and terms of service for eligibility and full details. You don’t need to complete extensive troubleshooting before requesting a no-questions-asked refund. Connection logs can provide additional context, but they aren’t a prerequisite. Check the ticket for a reply and provide any order details requested. Don’t send your password or full subscription link in a ticket. Don’t assume a processing time, fee or refund method; the ticket will provide the details for your case.
