VPNPack Setup Guide
Account → Plan → Subscription → Client → Connection check. Follow the steps in order, or skip ahead if you already have an account or subscription.
Create account
Start at the account creation page in the VPNPack user panel. No email address is required—just a username and password. Choose a username you can keep track of and a unique password; don’t reuse a password from another important account. Before submitting, check your entries, especially capitalization, keyboard input, and any accidental spaces, to avoid login problems later.
Once you’re done, open the user panel and make sure your account details are visible. Save your username and password in a trusted password manager, then choose a plan. Use the account to manage orders, data, subscriptions, and support tickets. The marketing site doesn’t display your personal subscription, so you’ll need to return to the panel to get it and download a client.
If you already have an account, use the “Log in” link in the header instead of creating another one. If you can’t sign in, first check that the username and password belong to the same account. Never post screenshots of your account or your password in public discussions. If you’re still stuck, read the account and subscription FAQs before continuing.
First Month FreeChoose a plan
After signing in, open the plans section in the panel and compare monthly plans with data packages. Monthly plans suit ongoing use, with data resetting monthly on the date you activate the plan. Data packages are more flexible: use the data whenever you need it, and it never expires. Choose based on your actual data needs, not just the largest allowance. Check the plan pricing page for full prices and terms.
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Use unlimited devices, but all data used by those devices counts toward your account total—unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Review the change details shown in the panel before proceeding.
Before selecting a plan, check the plan name, data allowance, price, and billing method on the order. Then follow the panel’s instructions to pay. VPNPack supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT; the checkout page shows the available options. After paying, return to the panel and confirm that your order status and plan details have updated. If they haven’t, check your order history before submitting the same request again.
VPNPack offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund policy. See the refund policy for details. This step is complete when the panel shows your plan—not simply when the payment page closes. Confirming the plan before getting your subscription helps distinguish an account status issue from a client problem.
Choose this planGet your subscription
Open the account overview in the user panel and check your plan status and remaining data. Then find the subscription section. The subscription link lets your client retrieve server configurations; it isn’t a regular webpage to read in a browser. Use the panel’s one-click import if available. If you don’t have a compatible client on this device, install one in the next step, then come back here.
If you need to import manually, use the copy option in the subscription section to copy the full link to your clipboard. Don’t forward it through a messaging app or edit any of its parameters. The address below is an example of what a subscription link looks like and won’t connect. Get your actual link only from your own user panel.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Your subscription link is a personal access credential. Don’t include the full link in public screenshots, online conversion tools, or support posts, and don’t import it into tools from unknown sources. When reporting an issue, describe only where it occurred and what message you saw. Hide the link and sensitive account details in screenshots. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the panel offers a reset option or ask support through a ticket.
After copying your link, continue to client setup. A failed subscription update doesn’t necessarily mean the servers are unreachable; the cause could be your local network, an incomplete link, or an incompatible client. Keep the original link from the panel and don’t keep changing its format. For troubleshooting, see the troubleshooting guide. If the section link or interface looks different, find the relevant issue from the guide home page.
Get subscriptionImport on your platform
A client reads your subscription and establishes the connection; the subscription alone can’t do that. Open the client section in the panel and download a compatible VPNPack client and instructions for your device. Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux users can sign in to download. For iOS, the panel determines whether the download option is available based on your active plan. Sign in to your account to get your subscription.
Windows: Import a subscription and set up the system proxy
Use the subscription-compatible client provided for Windows in the panel. Don’t pick an installer just because its name looks similar to one you need in search results. After installing and opening the client, find the “Subscription” or “Configuration” page. Choose an option such as “Add subscription” or “Import from link,” paste the full link you copied, save it, and update. If the panel offers one-click import, use it after installing the client and check that your browser opens the expected app.
When the server list appears, select the configuration you just imported, then choose a server from the proxy or server page. Some clients also require the system proxy to be enabled so apps that follow system proxy settings can use the connection. Follow the panel’s instructions if another mode is required. For your first connection, keep the default rules and close other proxy apps so you can tell which settings are taking effect.
macOS: Import a configuration and grant network permissions
Use the macOS client provided in the panel and open it as prompted by the system after installation. Go to configuration or subscription management, add a configuration from a link, paste your subscription, and update. If you import with one click from the panel, check the app name in the system prompt before allowing it to open. After importing, you should see a configuration name and server list—not an empty configuration entry.
When you connect, macOS may ask to add a network configuration or request system permissions for the client’s mode. Check which app is making the request, then grant permission as described by the client. Don’t change system security settings just to dismiss a prompt. After granting permission, return to the client and check the connection status. For more on installation, permissions, and connection checks, see the complete beginner’s guide to using a VPN on Mac.
Android: Import a link and authorize the VPN connection
Get and install the Android client from the panel. When you first open it, look for configuration management, subscriptions, or an import option. Choose import from link, paste and save your subscription address, then update the configuration. If Android asks which app to use for the import link, select the client you just installed. If no app picker appears, don’t keep tapping the link—copy and paste it manually instead.
After choosing a server and starting the connection, Android usually asks you to authorize the VPN connection. Make sure the prompt comes from your client, allow it, then check the status in the app. Keep the client in the foreground for your first connection test. If it disconnects only when sent to the background, check battery management and background activity settings instead of immediately deleting and reinstalling the configuration. For step-by-step help, see the Android VPN setup and connection guide.
iOS: Get the client from the panel and configure the network
Select iOS in the panel’s client section and use the download option shown for your active plan. Choose a subscription-compatible client listed in the panel and follow its import instructions; not every VPN app is compatible. After installing the client, return to the panel and use the matching one-click import option, or open the client’s subscription or configuration page, add the full link, and update.
After importing the server list, start the connection and confirm the prompt to add a VPN configuration in iOS. Once authorized, return to the client and check that the newly imported subscription and intended server are selected. If another VPN configuration is already active on the device, disconnect it before testing this one. The VPN indicator only means the network configuration is enabled; the next step checks whether you can reach your destination.
Connect and verify
After importing, update your subscription and check that the server list appears. Choose a server and connect. For your first session, keep the client’s default rules rather than changing complex routing settings. VPNPack covers 100+ countries and 230+ servers; the options available to you depend on the panel and the latest client update. A country name doesn’t guarantee that a specific app or service will be accessible.
After connecting, open a website that normally works to confirm your basic internet connection is still up. Then try the international website or app you want to use. Check that pages load and sign-in works. Don’t rely only on the client’s “Connected” status, and don’t assume one site failing means your entire connection is down. Access can also depend on your account, location, browser session, and the service’s own status.
If regular websites work but the app you want doesn’t, first check whether it follows the current proxy rules. Then quit and reopen the app and try again. When switching servers, keep other settings unchanged so you can identify what made a difference. For AI tool access issues, see the AI guide. For help choosing a server, see the server page—there’s no need to change all your network settings when getting started.
If no websites load, disconnect the client and check that your device’s regular internet connection works. Then confirm your plan is active, check your remaining data, and make sure the subscription updated successfully. If the client has no server list, fix the subscription import first. If it works in the foreground but not in the background, check the system’s background activity settings. Troubleshooting one symptom at a time is more effective than reinstalling the client, switching servers, and changing rules all at once.
If you’re still stuck, follow the symptoms in the troubleshooting guide or describe the issue in a user panel support ticket. Include your device’s operating system, client name, approximate time the issue occurred, any error message, and what you’ve already tried. Hide your password and subscription link in screenshots. Once the connection is stable and the destination loads, setup is complete.
